The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.
b) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may differ depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies in the security settings of your browser at any time.

4.2 We partially use external service providers to process your data. These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions, and get regularly inspected.

4.3 Moreover, we may disclose your personal data to third parties, if promotional action participations, raffles, contracts or similar services are offered by us together with partners. 6. Use of Google Analytics

6.1 This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of this website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is enabled on this website, Google will truncate your IP address beforehand within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there in exceptional cases only. Based on a contract with the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of this website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website usage and Internet usage to the website operator.

6.2 The IP addresses sent by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

6.3 You can prevent the storage of cookies by an appropriate setting of your browser software. However, we would like to make you aware of the fact that in this case you may not have full use of all functions of this website. You can also prevent Google’s collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of this website (including your IP address) as well as Google’ processing of this data by using, downloading, and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

6.4 This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp ()”. As a result, IP addresses are processed only in truncated form. Personal identification can thus be excluded. Insofar as the data collected about you could be used to identify you, it will be immediately excluded and the personal data will be deleted at once.

6.5 We use Google Analytics to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics we collect are used to improve our service and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the US, Google is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US- Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art 6 (1) sentence 1 letter f GDPR.

6.6 Information on the third-party provider: Google Dublin, Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, Fax: +353 (1) 436 1001. Terms of Use: http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/en.html, Privacy Policy Overview: http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/learn/privacy.html, and the Privacy Policy: http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy.

6.7 This website also uses Google Analytics for cross-device analysis of visitor flows, which is done by means of a user ID. You can disable the cross-device analysis of your use in your customer account under “My Data”, “Personal Information”.

7. Use of social media plug-ins

7.1 We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Xing, LinkedIn. We use the two-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, initially no personal data is passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognize the providers of the plug-in by the marking on the box above the first letter of the name or logo. We give you the option to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. The plug-in provider will receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding page on our website only if you click on the highlighted field and activate it. In addition, the data referred to in clause 3 of this declaration will be transmitted. In the case of Xing, the IP address is anonymized immediately after collection according to the respective providers in Germany. By activating the plug-in, personal data will be transmitted by you to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (in case of US providers in the USA). Since the plug-in provider carries out the data collection, specifically using cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies in the security settings of your browser before clicking on the greyed box.

7.2 We have no influence on the collected data and data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing, and the retention periods. We also have no information on how to delete the data collected by the plug-in provider.

7.3 The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses them for purposes of advertising, market research, and/or tailor-made website design. This evaluation is carried out in particular (also for users who are not logged in) in order to conduct custom advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the formation of these user profiles. You have to contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right. With these plug-ins, we offer you the opportunity to interact with social networks and other users so that we can improve our website and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Article 6 (1) sentence 1 letter f GDPR.

7.4 The data transfer takes place regardless of whether you have an account with the plug-in provider and are logged in. If you are logged into your account with the plug-in provider, the data collected about you by us will be assigned directly to your existing account with the plug-in provider. If you press the activated button and, for example, link the page, the plug-in provider also stores this information in your user account and shares it with your contacts publicly. We recommend that you log out regularly after using a social network, but especially before activating the button, as this will prevent that data gets assigned to your profile with the plug-in provider.

7.5 For more information on the purpose and scope of the data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider, please refer to the privacy policies of these providers listed below. Further information about your rights and settings options for the protection of your privacy will be given there as well.

7.6 Addresses of the respective plug-in providers and URL with their Privacy Statements:
a) Xing AG, Gänsemarkt 43, 20354 Hamburg, DE; http://www.xing.com/privacy.
b) LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, California 94043, USA; http://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy. LinkedIn is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US Framework.

8. Integration of YouTube videos
8.1 We have included YouTube videos on our website, which are stored on http://www.YouTube.com and are directly playable from our site. These are all integrated in the “extended privacy mode”, in other words, data about you as a user will not be transferred to YouTube if you are not playing the videos. The data mentioned in clause 2 will be transmitted only when you play the videos. We have no influence over this data transfer.

8.2 When you visit the website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data referred to in clause 3 of this declaration will be transmitted. This happens regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account that you are logged into, or if there is no user account. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish to have the data associated with your profile on YouTube, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as usage profiles and uses it for purposes of advertising, market research, and/or customization of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide appropriate advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right to object to the creation of these User Profiles and you have to contact YouTube to exercise it.

8.3 For more information on the purpose and scope of the data collection and its processing by YouTube, please refer to their Privacy Policy. This will also provide further information about your rights and settings options for the protection of your privacy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Google also processes your personal information in the United States and is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US Framework.

9. Integration of Google Maps

9.1 We use Google Maps on this website. This allows us to show you interactive maps directly in the website and allow you to conveniently use the map feature.

9.2 When you visit the website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data referred to in clause 3 of this declaration will be transmitted. This happens regardless of whether Google provides a user account that you are logged into, or if there is no user account. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish to have the data associated with your profile on Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses it for purposes of advertising, market research, and/or customization of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide appropriate advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right to object to the creation of these User Profiles and you have to contact Google to exercise it.

9.3 For more information on the purpose and scope of the data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider, please refer to provider’s privacy policy. This will also provide further information about your rights and settings options for the protection of your privacy: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Google also processes your personal information in the United States and is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US Framework.

10. Use of Google Adwords Conversion

10.1 We use the services of Google AdWords to draw attention to our attractive services by means of advertising (Google AdWords) on external websites. Using the data of the advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. We want to show you ads that are of interest to you, make our website more interesting for you, and achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.

10.2 Such advertising materials are supplied by Google via “ad servers”. To do this, we use ad server cookies, which measure certain performance metrics such as display of ads or user clicks. If you access our website through a Google ad, Google AdWords will store a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and do not have the purpose of personally identifying you. The unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions), and opt-out information (marking that the user does not want to be targeted) are usually stored as analysis values for this cookie.

10.3 These cookies allow Google to recognize your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of an AdWords customer’s website and the cookie stored on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer may discover that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. Each AdWords customer is assigned a different cookie. Cookies therefore cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. We do not collect and process any personal data as part of the aforementioned advertising measures. We receive only statistical evaluations provided by Google. Based on these evaluations, we can identify which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising material, in particular we cannot identify the users based on this information.

10.4 Due to the marketing tools used; your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the Google server. We have no control over the extent and the further use of the data, which is collected by Google through our utilization of this tool and inform you therefore according to our knowledge level: By including AdWords Conversion, Google receives the information that you have accessed the relevant part of our website or have clicked one of our ads. If you’re registered with a service provided by Google, Google may associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a chance that the provider will find and store your IP address.

10.5 There are several ways in which you can prevent this tracking process from occurring: a) by adjusting your browser software accordingly, in particular, the suppression of third-party cookies will prevent you from receiving any third-party ads; b) by disabling the cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com”, https://www.google.com/settings/ads, however, this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; c) by deactivating the interest-based advertisements of the providers that are part of the “About Ads” self-regulation campaign via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, however, this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; d) by permanent deactivation in your browsers Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. Please be aware that you may not be able to use all features of this site in this case.

10.6 The legal basis for the processing of your data is Article 6 (1) sentence 1 letter f GDPR. For more information about privacy at Google, see http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy and https://services.google.com/sitestats.html. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at http://www.networkadvertising.org. Google is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US Framework.
